Forgotten

I’m super excited to have written music for theatre show Forgotten, an original stage play by Daniel York Loh, inspired on the experiences of the 140,000 Chinese Labour Corps, who worked for the Brits and Allies in World War 1. Produced by Moongate and Yellow Earth, directed by Kim Pearce. Check out the trailer.

 


Where Are They From?

This short film by Suki Mok and myself charts the journeys of four London-based artists from East Asia, Eastern Europe, Africa and India we explore the stories behind each journey, life in their hometowns and if their backgrounds have inspired creative work. Featuring guest interviewees: composer/Bhangra pioneer Kuljit Bhamra, award-winning novelist/filmmaker Xiaolu Guo, educator/bassist Svetlana Vassileva and Cameroonian-British artist Shiri Achu.
