Rowena Humphreys and I are excited to announce MUSICAL VEG a music and healthy eating class for under 5’s and their parents.

We all know that eating at least five portions of fruit and vegetable a day can significantly improve our health and wellbeing but how can we encourage our children to get involved too?

Healthy eating specialist Rowena Humphreys and musician Liz Liew have come up with a plan. They’ve joined forces and created a fun way for children to experiment and taste fruit and vegetables through song and dance.

Says Rowena “I’m passionate about empowering people to eat healthily and to get more fruit and vegetables onto their plates. There is confusing and conflicting information out there so it can be hard to know what “eating healthy” really means. We cut through that confusion by providing useful tips to parents alongside creating a fun-filled space with music and dance for children”.

Liz adds “I’m so excited about combining my passions of food and music to encourage our local Haringey communities to get more fruit and veg on their plates. As all parents know getting our children to eat at least five portions of fruit and veg can often be a struggle but our ambition is to give children the opportunity to try, play and taste new and familiar fruit and vegetables in a fun and engaging way. This will, in turn set them up with good habits for life.”
